Chartered Clubs
San Benito County’s chartered Democratic clubs provide additional ways for local residents to meet, organize, learn about candidates and public issues, and participate in Democratic activities close to home. Each club operates independently while remaining connected to the San Benito County Democratic Central Committee.
Anzar Hills Democratic Club
The Anzar Hills Democratic Club serves Democrats in Aromas, San Juan Bautista, and surrounding communities. The club provides opportunities for local organizing, voter engagement, candidate education, community visibility, and regional collaboration.
Recent activities have included:
- Postcarding, canvassing, and voter outreach
- Candidate forums and local endorsement reviews
- Rallies, bridge demonstrations, and community visibility events
- Coordination with Aromas Democracy Defenders, Indivisible partners, and regional organizations
- Participation in community events, including Aromas Day, No Kings activities, and May Day events
- Support for youth delegates attending the California Democratic Party Convention
